What Does the DAXXIFY® Treatment Involve?

DAXXIFY® works by temporarily blocking the nerve signals to the muscles responsible for facial expressions. This process involves the injection of daxibotulinumtoxinA-lanm, a purified protein, into the targeted muscles. By inhibiting the muscle contractions that cause wrinkles, DAXXIFY® can smooth out the skin’s surface, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The innovative peptide formulation in DAXXIFY® – which is known as “Peptide Exchange Technology™” or “PXT” – generally makes for longer results than those of other neuromodulators (i.e. BOTOX® Cosmetic).*

Furthermore, the DAXXIFY® process is generally very quick and painless. After applying a topical aesthetic, we will gently inject the solution into the treatment area with a very fine needle. In most cases, the treatment only takes about half an hour. That said, we generally recommend patients undergo follow-up treatments every six months or so for optimal effects.

What Does the DAXXIFY® Recovery Entail?

After receiving DAXXIFY® injections, it is important to avoid intense physical activity for 24 hours; this can minimize the risk of bruising and swelling. We also advise you to protect your skin from excessive sun exposure and avoid tanning beds for a few days.

Common DAXXIFY® side effects include mild redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection site; however, these typically resolve quickly. If you experience any severe or persistent side effects, we encourage you to contact a medical professional. What is Revance® RHA®?

The Revance RHA Collection is a family of next-generation hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers, designed specifically to fill and smooth dynamic wrinkles and deep creases. Restylane® Kysse

What happens during EMSCULPT treatments?

While most noninvasive body contouring treatments target unwanted fat, EMSCULPT builds muscle at the same time. EMSCULPT can tackle unwanted fat cells and stimulate muscle growth for a more sculpted appearance. EMSCULPT uses high intensity focused electromagnetic technology, or HIFEM®. The patented HIFEM device is placed on the target area or areas — multiple areas can be simultaneously treated during the approximately 30-minute sessions.
